NARS Casino Bronzer Review

NARS is known worldwide for their blushes and multiples but I think the bronzers have gotten the short end of the stick. Especially when it comes to women of color. Not many of their products are for our skin tones. So much so that they have only just introduced brown skinned models to their website ads and videos.
Have no fear because I have one product that works for the women of my culture. Casino bronzer is a darker brown with a hint of red undertone. It works great for a bronzer on my skin tone (NC50) and lighter. I love this bronzer. I have purchased it twice in four years. Yes, it lasts that long. It is finely milled and feels like silk on the skin. It’s not ashy or grey and it looks so natural in daylight and photography. It only takes a little to achieve a great contour and bronze.
I had the problem of finding the right bronzer for my skin tone for so many years until I stumbled over this in Sephora, literally. Someone had dropped one on the floor and I stumbled across it. I even got it for 40% off because it was damaged and the last one they had left. Thankfully it was in tact when I got it home and I used it all to the pan. It gives such a beautiful glow to the skin as an all over bronzer and it is a satin.
This is one product I know all of my sisters will love as well as tan and olive skin tones. Across the board this is an awesome bronzer.

Benefit They’re Real Mascara Review

This mascara was new to me and it was a different experience for me. I have never been a fan of the short, stubby, rubber bristles. This one was a pleasant surprise. I like the length it gives and the brush is unique. It tends to feel rough on the lids but I realize that the side to side motion we use when putting on mascara we have to do less of with this brush. It did make the time I spent doing my mascara less. I have OCD when it comes to my lashes and sometimes will spend a considerable amount of time on them to get them perfect like I like them. I feel like if anything is worth doing it is worth doing right. I like my makeup to be crisp, clean and polished. This mascara made my lashes really look like I had false lashes on. I couldn’t believe my eyes, literally. With two coats I had the look I was looking for with no trouble or combing.
I know that when it comes to mascara there are millions out there on the market. You could get a drugstore mascara but it would not do what this one does. The tip of the brush can be used to push up the lashes to give them lift. Unlike other mascaras that weigh the lashes down this one maintains a curl for a long time. The name is very fitting because people always ask me when I wear this “Are they Real?”





Diorshow Waterproof Mascara Review

I have had an obsession with mascara since I started doing makeup years ago. The most wished for mascara on my list was Diorshow. Finally, I got my hands on this mascara. I have been using it for two months now and I love it.
I was never a fan of many waterproof mascaras but I wanted to give this one a chance because of all the good reviews I read on Sephora.com and watched on Youtube.com. This mascara has big shoes to fill because of the name that it carries. Dior is known for being at the top when it comes to High end products so I would expect only the best from their mascara. Just holding it in my hand let me know that I had purchased quality.
The tube and the brush are twice the size of a normal mascara. The design is etched and embossed into the tube so there were a lot of fine details that were taken in the design and make of the packaging and tool which I think are so beautiful and it stands out in any purse or makeup bag. The thick plush brush grabs every single lash and coats them with this smooth clump free formula that makes your lashes stand out. It even grabs the lashes that you thought you didn’t have. I have been asked several times while wearing this mascara was I wearing false lashes. It gives you that effect. Your lashes are full and thick and the formula is so black. It is so smooth when you apply it to the lashes. I have compared it agaist all of my other mascaras, drugstore and high end and they cannot compare. This is a great product and well worth every penny.
